Pasta

Pasta is a generic term used for noodles made from flour and water, sometimes eggs are used.

Historians believe that pasta was invented 4000 years ago in China.

Pasta is typical of different cultures and countries, but the most famous is Italy. There are hundreds of different shapes of pasta, for examples: spaghetti, fusilli, lasagna and Gnocchi ; these are famous in all the World.

Pasta is generally served with some type of sauce; the sauce and the type of pasta are usually matched based on consistency or on the chicken, beef or fish used.

As pasta was popularized in all the World, there are many kinds of preparation that are different than Italian, especially in Asia where it is used much.
