Solutions for São Paulo's traffic problems

Like any one big city, São Paulo has a big traffic problem. There are more than 7 million cars on the roads and it has been increasing every day.  It´s difficult to solve this problem in a big city like São Paulo. 

The government needs to construct more roads, to put more buses on the streets, but, in my opinion, the most important is to construct more subways. If we have an option by subway that is faster than car, we do not need to look for a place to park the car or to spend a lot of money to park it. This will make many people not to use cars.
