It is an American sitcom created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady that started in September 2007.
This sitcom takes place in Pasadena, California. This show is about two physicists; Sheldon Cooper is a Theoretical physicist and Leonard Hofstadter an experimental physicist. They live together in an apartment; Leonard pays rent to Sheldon.
The other character is Penny; she is a beautiful waitress who lives on the same floor as them. In addition, there are Howard and Rajesh, two nerd guys who are their friends.
Sheldon has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, he has many strange foibles and does not give importance to social relations. He likes to say “Bazinga” to give irony to his jokes.
Penny is a neighbor of Sheldon and Leonard. She wants to be an actress. She used to date Leonard.
Leonard had to adapt to strange fads of his friend Sheldon and he likes Penny.
Howard is the only one that doesn't have a master Degree. He just has a Ph.d. He is a failure in relationships.
Rajesh Koothrappali, he is Indian. He is Howard´s best friend. He can´t talk to a girl.
Those are the most important characters in the show, but there are many other important ones too, who help this wonderful sitcom to be fun.
