The Little story about blue jeans.

Blue jeans define the American clothes culture.
Levi Strauss didn't invent jeans, but he is considered the first person to make and sell a grand number of jeans. He was born in Bavarian. In 1847 he and his family went to America and he open a small store in NY and after in San Francisco, California. Among the products that he sold were jeans, that were used for minors in California. Straus lived with a cloth maker Daves.

Daves invented a process to make rivets, the little metal connector that help hold pieces of clothes together to make the jeans stronger.

In 1873 Daves won a patent for his invention and everybody was obligated to pay him to make this product.

James Sullivan published the book called Jeans a culture history of an America icon. He said “ Jeans also represent American values, creativity and rebellion.”

Cowboys wore jeans in the old Wild West. And Famous actors started to wear jeans in movies.

Until today, jeans still come in blue, but there are a lot of other colors and there are different prices

Conditionals - English Grammar

Conditional Sentences are also known as Conditional Clauses or If Clauses. They are used to express that the action in the main clause (without if) can only take place if a certain condition (in the clause with if) is fulfilled.

In English language teaching, conditional sentences are often classified under the headings zero conditional, first conditional, second conditional and third conditional.

  • Zero Conditional

Zero conditional is used for talking about General Truths/Facts. Things which always happen under certain conditions

The structure of a zero conditional sentence:
If clause (Present tense), result clause (Present tense)

Examples:

If it rains in Petropolis, it can be dangerous.
When markets crash, everyone suffers   (We can changer if – for when)
If you jump through the window, you can die.

  •  First  Conditional

The first conditional is used to talk about future events that are likely to happen.

The structure of a first conditional sentence:
If clause (Simple Present), result (Future tense)

Examples:

If it's sunny, we'll go to the park.
If I have money, I will buy a car.
If she takes a taxi, she'll get there in time.

  • Second  Conditional

The second conditional is used to talk about unlikely situations.

The structure of a second conditional sentence:
If clause (Past Simple), result (WOULD + Base Verb)

Examples:

If there were no hungry people in this world, it would be a much better place.
If I won a million dollars, I could stop working.
If I knew her name, I would tell you.

Chocolate Ass!! & Brazilin war!!

An England candy store invented a new chocolate shape, anus chocolate. It’s so funny. A wonderful Belgian chocolate is used to make this chocolate.
You can buy for it yourself or give it as a gift.

And it does not stop here. You also can buy a silver anus chocolate if you have disgusted. And to finish; you can buy a t-shirt with a photo of the product.

Let´s change the subject!

Is it a dream? Is Brazil waking up now? I don’t know exactly theses answers, but I´m very happy about what is happening here. I have never more seen this since 1992, when people took to the streets to protest against President Collor.
Now the people are going to the streets and fighting for changes, against corrupt politicians.

This war will be very difficult, but it is the only way that we have to change our country. This may be the beginning of a big change.

Dog Love!! & Stupid girl!!

Woman catches husband "making love" with the dog, yes, this really happened! In Ilhéus, Bahia, the woman when arrived at home heard a noise from her bedroom, when she opened the door she saw her husband with their dog in their bed. She tried to separate them, but she couldn’t and still got bitten by the dog.
She threw a bucket of water and they continued to make love. After trying to do everything, she called the police and everybody went to the police station, minus the dog, sure, he didn't known what was happening. The breed of the animal was not informed.

Let´s go to the next topic.

A girl bought an IPhone and posted a photo on Facebook, until now it´s only a normal story, but the brilliant girl bought her cellphone in the underworld of crime. The cellphone belonged to a man who had lost his cellphone; she forgot to logout of the man´s account and published her photo in his account. Ohhh!!! Stupid girl!!
Of course the man saw the photo in his Facebook and published this photo that has more than 30000 shares; someone knew the girl and reported her.

She went to a police office to return the cellphone and said that she found it on the street.

World Cup !!! & Banned the jokes!!

The cost of the World Cup in Brazil will be greater than the sum of the total invested in the last three editions of the event, in Japan, Korea, Germany and South Africa.
The analysis compares all the money invested in the countries headquarters. Until now, Brazil has spent more than US$40 billion and the sum of the total invested in last three editions together was only US$ 30 billion. While all the tournaments in history together would have consumed US$ 75 billion.
If Brazil continues increasing the investment in the same rhythm, it will pass the total of all the World Cups.

Let´s go to the next topic.

Last week CQC, which is a TV comedy program, is being sued because of a joke. That is true; they are being investigated by police because they made a Portuguese joke. The humorist Ronald Rios said that “Portuguese women have mustaches.". The Portuguese community would have been irritated and they are suing the program.

We have been making Portuguese jokes since we were discovered by them; but now, we can´t make more jokes, Thank democracy.

ET !!! & Kiko !

Did you see this? The former Canadian Defense Minister said that are many ETs living on the Earth with us and there are two ETs working in the American Congress.  And more, he said that there are four kinds of ETs living here. He said that he started to believe in ETs when he had an experience with his wife and friends.
Do you believe in ET? I believe in ET. There are many planets in the universe and why just Earth has life? We can't prove it now, but one day it will happen.

Let´s go to the next topic.

I´m very sad; yes, it´s true. Carlos Villagrán did his last job like Kiko. The eternal Kiko of Chaves´s sitcom retired forever. He said that he's too old to continue to work. After more than 30 years working like Kiko, he said, "thanks to everybody” and said that he likes so much the Brazilian people.
But we can continue watching Kiko on tv. Kiko is one of my favorite characters of Chaves. My other favorite character is Seu madruga, but he unfortunately died some years ago.
